Sr. Tableau Big Data Developer to work in USA on an E3 visa - Cairns

Key specific accountabilities.
Development of Tableau reports from Hadoop BigData eco system and Relational databases.
Develop functional and technical specification documentation.
Develop fully functional modules that meet all the specifications and have successfully passed all tests including unit, integration, regression and system tests.
Coordinate with other onshore and off-shore developers, deliver working code.
Coordinate with Business Analysts, Testers and Stakeholders.
Participate in regular release processes, Agile ceremonies, delivering as per commitments during each iteration sic Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
5+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of experience in Reporting and Data Visualization projects.
Primary Tableau developer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) as well as work closely with statistical programmers and statistician to ensure data view tables and data sources are accurate and efficient.
Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
4+ year of experience as Tableau developer.
4+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and Reporting applications SSIS, SQL Server, Oracle or related databases.
Preferred Qualifications
Should have strong SQL knowledge and experience.
Have good knowledge on Hadoop BigData eco system.
Have good knowledge of Statistical modelling with R or Python programming.
Build & publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Online.
Able to blend data to create powerful dashboards.
Create action filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
Experience using Tableau’s JavaScript API.
Good working experience with HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript and integration with RESTful APIs.
Synergize with statistical programmers and statistician to test, clean, and standardized data to meet the business standards.
Being able to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment as in a competitive landscape new data keeps flowing in rapidly and the world is constantly changing.
Having the ability to query databases and perform statistical analysis.
Being able to advice senior management in clear language about the implications of their work for the organization.
Being able to create examples, prototypes, demonstrations to help management better understand the work.
